FMC is one of 74 smaller nonprofits (budget under $3 million) that have been selected in 2016. There were more than 300 applicants for the 2016-17 Catalogue.
The Catalogue for Philanthropy assists smaller nonprofits share the “good news” of what they do to a broader audience than they typically can reach. It share with prospective donors the positive impacts of the organization.
Dr. Kimberly Cox, President of the Father McKenna Center, reflected, “Being included in the Catalogue for Philanthropy is a significant recognition of the hard work we do each day. We do not work for acknowledgement, but rather for the good of those we serve. However, to be recognized for the quality of our work is a good feeling. We will now have an opportunity to attract donors who have not previously known about our work. I am very pleased with this recognition of our work.”
