Financial Stability Network

The Father McKenna is partnering with Catholic Charities of the archdiocese of Washington to hold a 10-week financial literacy course to help individuals and families reduce debt, prepare income tax, and improve money management.

Students will receive materials provided by instructors and engage in regular meetings with financial mentors (free of charge).

The Financial Stability Network course will cover the following financial topics:

  • Preparing Income Tax and Tax Return Statements
  • Budgeting Techniques
  • Managing Debt
  • Banking
  • Credit Scores and Credit Reports

Classes will be held at the Fr. McKenna Center Conference Room on the following Thursdays from 1:00 to 2:30:

  • May 8, 15, 22, and 29
  • June 5,12,19, and 26
  • July 3 and July 10

AA Meetings

The Center is happy to present a safe and supportive environment where members can share their experiences, receive guidance, and connect with others on a similar journey. The weekly meetings will be held at the Father McKenna Center Conference Room every Wednesday from 10 – 11am and Friday from 1 – 2pm.
