Walk For McKenna
Over the past 9 years, we have welcomed walkers from around the country to gather together and honor Fr. McKenna's life and legacy. Thanks to their support, we have been able to continue to expand our services, serving over 35,000 meals a year through the Day Shelter and providing groceries to more than 800 families in our Food Pantry.
Following in Fr. McKenna's Footsteps
During his time on I St., Fr. Horace McKenna, S.J. walked the streets around St. Aloysius church, bringing food, comfort, and love to his community. The Walk for McKenna was introduced in 2017 as a way to support the Father McKenna Center's programs and its commitment to continuing his work serving our neighbors in need.
9th Annual Walk For McKenna
In 2024, we welcomed more than 400 people to I St. for the Walk raising more than $100,000 for the Center.
